Workshops, retreats, and events to inspire, nurture and empower
For women who have experienced domestic and family violence (DFV), the Wellness Program offers a gentle introduction of unconditional acceptance and hope. Coming together with other women and/or survivors enables real connection and growth, free from judgement, loneliness and despair which can be a catalyst for long term healing. This initiative provides women with the necessary tools for self-healing and supports self empowerment, which they can then take back to their own daily lives and communities.

The Wellness program includes a series of workshops, courses, residential retreats, and an outreach program, all of which provide holistic self development opportunities.  It is designed to enable participants to benefit from the entire range of sessions or to choose only the sessions that call to them. The Program offers healing over a longer period of time than presently available in the domestic violence support sector. As domestic violence affects not only the victim but also family members and friends who witness the behaviour, some of our courses may be suitable for family members and friends.

Kath Walsh had a dream to create a safe space to nurture and empower survivors of domestic violence. Kath established a healing centre, MyStory Retreat at Mothar Mountain, with the aim of facilitating workshops to fulfill her vision of self healing and mind, body, soul connection.

Sadly, because of illness, Kath passed away before the realisation of her goal. Through her kindness, generosity and compassion, Kath provided a bequest to honour her vision for a program to be designed to nurture, empower and provide ongoing support to survivors of domestic violence. Hence, “Kath’s Gift” was born.

Women’s Circle Network Australia Association Inc. is deeply honoured to have been chosen to carry on the legacy of Kath.

“We are all universal beings full of love just waiting to glow.”
